Cameco recently welcomed 13 students and teachers from Pinehouse to Saskatoon for an evening of connection and conversation. Over a shared meal, they exchanged stories and laughs with eight Cameco employees while exploring career paths and opportunities. The dinner was part of a five-day educational college and university tour organized by Pinehouse to help students learn about future education and career options.

A million thank yous wouldn’t cover our gratitude. Employees in Saskatchewan and Ontario again stepped up to support Cameco’s Employee Giving Campaign administered by Saskatoon Community Foundation. Cameco matched all employee donations, producing more than $1 million to benefit 150 charities chosen by employees.

We appreciate the opportunity to share updates on our 2024 Collaboration Agreement progress reports and our northern operations, and to respond to questions from leadership and community members. Last week, Cameco hosted four leaders from northern Saskatchewan at our Fuel Services Division in Port Hope, Ontario. Black Lake Denesuline First Nation Chief Coreen Sayazie, Fond du Lac Denesuline First Nation Chief Ronnie Augier, Hatchet Lake Denesuline First Nation Chief Bart Tsannie and Pinehouse Mayor Mike Natomagan joined staff from Cameco's Corporate and Community Relations team on a tour of Port Hope Conversion Facility and Cameco Fuel Manufacturing.
