Thank you to Rider Nation for showing up and supporting Cameco Touchdown for Dreams at Saturday's Rider game. We had another successful year selling pink toques and raising money to fund dreams for women facing a life-threatening cancer diagnosis. The weekend kicked off Friday night when this year's #TD4D recipients received their jerseys from the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are hosting their annual Pink Game on Saturday, celebrating the Cameco Riders Touchdown for Dreams program, which makes dreams come true for women living with a life-threatening cancer diagnosis. Pink toques will be available for purchase for $20 from Team Cameco volunteers prior to kick-off. All proceeds support the program. #TD4D Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan

Cameco was proud to be the presenting sponsor for the inaugural #CNAWest conference, which brought 500 delegates to our hometown this week. Canada is the second largest uranium producer in the world - all of which is mined in Saskatchewan, making our province essential to the global nuclear industry. This week's conference featured an opening keynote from Scott Moe, who reiterated the government's commitment to bring nuclear power to Saskatchewan.

On the second day of #CNAWest, Cameco's Vice-President of Mining Operations Dale Clark took part in a panel discussion examining the opportunities for Western Canada to develop a full-lifecycle nuclear industry beyond mining, which could include fuel fabrication, new nuclear deployment and waste management. The day wrapped up with a keynote address from Cameco President and Chief Operating Officer Grant Isaac, who noted that following two days of rich dialogue discussing foundations for the future of nuclear in Western Canada, it is time for action.
