Cameco is committed to a clean-air world. Last week, our team was pleased to be on hand with government and industry officials to celebrate the successes of the Saskatchewan Technology Fund. As one of 13 emission reductions projects in the province, transitioning to electric-powered drilling at our Cigar Lake mine will cut emissions by ~1,000 tonnes while creating jobs for Indigenous community members.

The future is nuclear. And nuclear needs future leaders. That’s why Cameco was pleased to participate in the World Nuclear University’s LEAD 24 program held earlier this week. Thank you for the opportunity! From a fireside chat with our CEO, Tim Gitzel and Dylan Bryngelson, our VP of Supply Chain Management, to tours of our Port Hope conversion and manufacturing facilities, Cameco welcomed all participants to further develop their knowledge of our industry.

At Cameco, we take our commitments to the environment, people, safety and governance principles seriously. In fact, 50% of our short-term incentive targets for employees, including executives, are tied to these performance measures.
