While this is the first time the Canadian Nuclear Association has held a conference in Western Canada, Tim shared with the crowd that Saskatchewan - home to the world's highest-grade uranium - has been essential to global nuclear fuel supply for decades and will continue to be for years to come.

Exploring potential career paths is an important step in helping to build successful futures. Recently, Cameco’s McArthur River Operation welcomed seven students and their teacher from English River First Nation to learn more about the wide range of careers available in the mining industry. The visit included a rare opportunity to go underground to experience what it’s like to work in a uranium mine. At Cameco, we take pride in protecting the environment, prioritizing the safety of our people, and helping inspire the next generation of talent and showcase the rewarding careers available.
