Cameco CEO Tim Gitzel had the opportunity to meet His Majesty King Charles III in London recently, where Tim was taking part in the Sustainable Markets Initiative roundtables and exhibition. Tim spoke on the Energy Abundance Agenda panel, which discussed the role of nuclear power in meeting soaring energy demand, sustaining industrial activity, and decarbonizing electrical grids. The panel explored how markets, technology and sovereign policy must converge to deliver clean, reliable energy to power an AI-era economy.

Today, on the margins of the Nuclear Energy Summit in Paris, France, Cameco CEO Tim Gitzel was pleased to meet with French President, Emmanuel Macron. Cameco is proud to sponsor a Grey Cup and educational tour this week to the northern Saskatchewan communities of Buffalo Narrows, Ile a la Crosse, Patuanak, Beauval, Pinehouse, Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Air Ronge and La Ronge. Community members had the chance to meet Saskatchewan Roughriders players Albert Awachie and Jacob Brammer and take pictures with the Grey Cup, and the players gave literacy and wellness presentations to local schools.
