Safety is the number one priority at Cameco, and we are proud to have been recognized at the SMA 2025 Safety Awards this week. Rabbit Lake was a top achiever, earning an SMA safety rating of zero after a year with no injuries requiring restricted work or lost time. The award was accepted by General Manager Shawn Harriman. Key Lake also earned a 2025 Safety Achievement Award, recognizing a rating of 1.44—well below both the 2025 SMA median and the seven-year average. The award was accepted by accepted by Manager, Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Alison Wilk, and Technical Superintendent Phil Bergbusch.
