Stepping foot onto Cameco’s McArthur River mine site for the first time was a bit scary, Bailey Tinker says. However, she found it easy to get to know people and create work relationships and personal friendships. Tinker’s work experience placement is just one example of the benefits provided to northern Saskatchewan communities, including three First Nations and four municipalities, through our collaboration agreements. Since the first agreement was signed in 2012, Saskatchewan’s north has seen more than $1.6 billion invested locally.
