A career fair is a great place for Cameco to connect with young people who might be interested in joining our team down the road. That's why Community Relations Liaison Chelsea Iron and Key Lake mill employee Melvin Natamogan hosted the Cameco booth at the Pinehouse Career Fair held at Minahik Waskahigan High School in Pinehouse Lake on May 20. They answered questions about Cameco's operations and life at site, and the available scholarships to help obtain the education to get there. We also thank the organizers of the fair, Kineepik Metis Local #9.

Last weekend, Cameco was proud to be the presenting sponsor of the first CFL preseason game in Saskatoon since 1991. The event was even more special with the attendance of several 2026 Touchdown for Dreams recipients, pictured here with Saskatchewan Roughriders coach Corey Mace (back) and Cameco CEO Tim Gitzel (right). To top it off: the Riders came away with a win!

As part of our workforce development commitments under our Collaboration Agreements, Cameco regularly invites groups of high school students to our operations to give them a first-hand look at life at a mining site. On May 19, Lac La Ronge Indian Band Community Relations Liaison Robin Cook brought students from Senator Myles Venne School in La Ronge and Sally Ross School in Hall Lake to McArthur River mine. Students were able to learn about what goes on at a mine and what a potential career with Cameco might look like.

Earlier this month, Grade 12 students from Fr Megret High School in Wollaston had the chance to visit Cigar Lake mine with Community Relations Liaison Allena McCallum. The students were able to get a first-hand look at our operations and learn about life at a mine site and a potential career with Cameco. Events like these are just one way Cameco advances workforce development under our Collaboration Agreements.

May has been a busy month for Cameco's community liaisons, who have been connecting with local high schools as part of our Collaboration Agreement commitments. On May 12, Community Relations Liaisons Victor Fern, of Fond du Lac, Rick Robillard, of Black Lake, and Robin Cook, of Lac La Ronge Indian Band hosted the Cameco booth at the Career Fair during Core Days conference in La Ronge. It was a great opportunity to answer questions about potential careers with Cameco - and hand out some swag!
