As part of our workforce development commitments under our Collaboration Agreements, Cameco regularly invites groups of high school students to our operations to give them a first-hand look at life at a mining site. On May 19, Lac La Ronge Indian Band Community Relations Liaison Robin Cook brought students from Senator Myles Venne School in La Ronge and Sally Ross School in Hall Lake to McArthur River mine. Students were able to learn about what goes on at a mine and what a potential career with Cameco might look like.
