One of Saskatoon's most recognizable gathering places is entering a new chapter.

Today, Cameco announced a 10-year naming sponsorship of TCU Place, the city's premier arts, entertainment and convention venue, which will officially become Cameco Centre on January 1, 2027.

For generations, the venue has welcomed world-class performers, community celebrations, conventions, conferences, graduations and countless memorable moments for residents and visitors alike. Through this new partnership, Cameco is helping ensure it continues to play that important role for years to come.

"At Cameco, we're proud to call Saskatoon home," said Cameco CEO Tim Gitzel. "We're not investing in a building. We're investing in what happens inside it. We're investing in a place that helps strengthen our community, supports our local economy, showcases our city, and creates experiences that connect people and build lasting memories."

The new name reflects Cameco's roots in Saskatchewan and long-standing commitment to the communities where its employees live and work. The partnership also recognizes the important role the venue plays in bringing people together and welcoming visitors from around the world to Saskatoon.

"Cameco is honoured to support a venue that showcases the very best of Saskatoon, welcomes the world to our community and helps create experiences that stay with people long after they leave. The future name of this place may be Cameco Centre, but its purpose remains the same - bringing people together."
