On National Truth and Reconciliation Day, we recognize the importance of listening, learning and taking action on the path toward reconciliation. Last week, we were grateful to welcome Indigenous reconciliation advocate and author Rose LeMay to our Cigar Lake operation. Through a company-wide livestream, employees across Cameco had the opportunity to hear Rose share her experiences and reflections on reconciliation, allyship and the role each of us can play in building stronger relationships and communities. Rose encouraged us to continue learning about Canada's shared history, deepen our cultural awareness, listen to the experiences of Indigenous Peoples, speak up against racism and help create meaningful change in our workplaces and communities. We thank Rose for sharing her story and perspective with our employees as we reflect on the significance of this day and the work that remains ahead.
