Cameco extends its sincere thanks to everyone who joined us during last week's Athabasca Basin Community Tour. We appreciated the warm welcomes and hospitality from Wollaston Lake/Hatchet Lake, Fond du Lac, Black Lake, Stony Rapids, and Uranium City. Along with Orano, Ya'thi Néné Lands and Resources, CanNorth and TD Canada Trust (corporate trustee of the Athabasca Community Trust), we shared updates with community leadership and members on the 2024 Ya’thi Néné Collaboration Agreement progress report, the Community-Based Environmental Monitoring Program and our northern operations. We were also pleased to have the Athabasca Dene Education Authority join us to celebrate the recipients of the 2024 Athabasca Student Awards.
