Cameco CEO Tim Gitzel has participated in two recent global panels discussing the future of nuclear energy. On Friday, Tim took part in a discussion about energy transition at the O Forum with Ortec Group board member Dominique Miniere (also a Cameco board member), NEI President and CEO Maria Korsnick, Boralex President and CEO Patrick Decostre, and Argos Wityu Senior Partner Sandra Lagumina Then on Tuesday at the Atlantic Council Nuclear Energy Policy Summit, Tim spoke on a panel discussing nuclear energy powering hyperscalers and AI. Tim was joined on the panel by H.E. Mohamed Al Hammadi, CEO of Emirates Nuclear Energy Company, Aleshia Duncan, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy, and Daniel Hanna, Group Head of Sustainable and Transition Finance for Barclays. The panel was moderated by Atlantic Council’s Daniel Poneman.
