Cameco Named Top 10 Employer For Third Consecutive Year

For the third consecutive year, Cameco has been selected one of the 10 Best Companies To Work For in Canada by the Financial Post for 2012.

The annual competition recognizes fast-growing companies in Canada that offer career advancement opportunities together with leading compensation and benefits. Employers are evaluated on a set of criteria that also includes work atmosphere, training and skills development opportunities, and community involvement.

In 2010, Cameco was named a Top 100 Employer in Canada by the Globe and Mail and has finished in the top 10 every year it has entered the competition. Cameco has also been recognized as a top Saskatchewan employer by the Saskatoon StarPhoenix and Best Diversity Employer by The Globe and Mail in each of the past two years.

"The competition for people is fierce in Canada's resource sector and we need the best to support our ambitious plan to increase uranium production," said Cameco's president and CEO Tim Gitzel. "The fact that we place consistently near the top in these competitions shows that we are well positioned to succeed."
