Throughout this document, the terms we, us, our and Cameco mean Cameco Corporation and its subsidiaries. All dollar amounts are in Canadian dollars, unless we indicate otherwise.
2014 marks Cameco’s fifth sustainable development report and our second full report using the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Guidelines.
Our sustainable development report is our report card to our stakeholders. It tells them how we’re performing against key indicators that measure our social, environmental and economic impacts in the areas that matter most to these individuals and groups.
It’s an important document for many different audiences. Each of them wants to know how we’re managing our responsibilities, and we have a responsibility to provide timely, accurate information.
Sustainability programming is a deep strength for Cameco and we continue to deliver top-tier performance in the areas of worker safety, community relations and environmental responsibility.
