Safe, Healthy & Rewarding Workplace

Approach

The safety of our workers and members of the public is paramount at every stage of Cameco’s operations – from exploration, development and operation to decommissioning and reclamation.

Keeping risks as low as reasonably achievable and sending workers home safely at the end of every shift or work rotation is the most important thing we do each day.

Attracting and developing skilled employees, and providing a workplace that keeps them engaged and encourages a sense of community, contribution and belonging, are also critically important to our success.

We take employee engagement and development seriously and we actively invest in both.
