A Report Card to Our Stakeholders
2016 marks Cameco’s sixth sustainable development report, our first using the new Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 4.0 Sustainability Guidelines.
Our sustainable development report is our report card to our stakeholders. It tells them how we’re performing against key indicators that measure our social, environmental and economic impacts in the areas that matter most to these individuals and groups.
It’s an important document for many different audiences. Each of them wants to know how we’re managing our responsibilities, and we have a responsibility to provide timely, accurate information.
Sustainability programming is a core strength for Cameco, and we continue to deliver top-tier performance in the areas of worker safety, community relations and environmental responsibility.
