Cameco Named A Top 100 Employer For Third Consecutive Year

Cameco has again been named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers in a national competition organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc. and published in The Globe and Mail.

The annual competition recognizes Canadian companies and organizations that lead their industries in attracting and retaining employees. Each year, more than 2,700 organizations and companies submit a detailed application outlining their HR practices.

Selection is based on eight criteria: assessment of physical workplace, atmosphere and workplace practices such as benefits, vacation and time off, communications, performance management and professional development. Charitable efforts and community involvement are also considered.

"For Cameco to be recognized three years in a row is a real tribute to our employees, who make Cameco a great place to work," said president and CEO Tim Gitzel. "As our company and our team continue to grow, we look for people who fit our culture and live up to our values."
