Cameco’s community investment program encompasses relationships with dozens of communities in Canada, Australia, the US and Central Asia. It is built on the fundamental belief that supportive communities are a key measure of this company’s long-term success.

Grassroots partnerships are powerful, so when it comes to assessing community investments, local organizations receive top priority. We focus on the four key areas of youth, education and literacy, health and wellness, and community development, and we back that up with a target of spending one per cent of after-tax net earnings on community investment projects.
