Cameco developed sketches of Vision 2010 concept plans to assist people in visualizing project options during the public consultation process. These provide broad stroke options for achieving operational efficiencies and improving site aesthetics following the removal of legacy waste through the Port Hope Area Initiative. Each of the four concept plans presents a different approach to improve the look and functioning of the site, but all do so in ways that meet safety, regulatory, and operational requirements. These concepts are not final. The development may include elements of some or all of them.

As part of the Cameco Vision 2010 consultation process, Gartner Lee Limited produced a background package for consultation program participants. Components of that package are provided below.
