UF₆ building update / Emissions reduction plans

May 26, 2008 - Cameco provided an update on subsurface contamination from the UF₆ plant. Participants also heard a presentation from Chris Clement, director of the radiation protection division of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission explaining how the CNSC sets radiation protection standards for nuclear industry workers and the public. Hess Carisse, director of regulatory compliance and licensing for Cameco's fuel services division, delivered a presentation on Cameco's monitoring programs.
