At Cameco we take our social license to operate just as seriously as our regulatory license. That means we respect the interests of northern people and the role they play in shaping our future.

In particular, we focus our community activities on areas near our operations, projects or exploration camps, as well as places where our employees and business partners are located.

We strive to communicate with individuals and communities in the way that they want to receive information about our plans and activities. That may be through public meetings, school visits, our annual tour, meetings with local leadership, or drop-in visits at our satellite offices.
