Cameco is proud to be an active member of the community. As we mine, mill and explore for uranium, we know it is important to build and maintain strong relationships with northern communities, employees, leadership, businesspeople and youth.

For Cameco to remain an industry leader, we must attract the best employees and encourage northern residents to consider working for us. To ensure that potential employees have the skills we need at our operations, we encourage northern students to stay in school and offer support for them to attend post-secondary education.

Community Investments

Each year Cameco receives many worthy requests to support community-building initiatives in northern Saskatchewan. While all requests for investments and sponsorships are carefully reviewed, Cameco gives priority to initiatives that promote youth activities
