The results of the 2012 community poll indicate that Cameco continues to have a firm foundation of public support among the majority of Port Hope residents; 89% of residents are supportive of Cameco continuing to operate in Port Hope and the majority are strongly supportive. Among the other key findings:

• 92% agree that Port Hope is a safe and healthy place to live
• 84% agree that Cameco does everything possible to protect people and the environment
• 85% agree that Cameco makes information about its local operations readily available to Port Hope residents
• 59% indicate that they are aware of the website devoted to Cameco's operations in Port Hope.
