- Bruce Power is a partnership that currently operates six nuclear power plants with a total capacity of 4,700 megawatts
- Bruce Power leases eight nuclear power plants from Ontario Power Generation (OPG)
- the reactors are capable of producing enough electricity to supply about 20% of Ontario's needs
- Cameco produces nuclear electricity through our 31.6% share of the four Bruce B reactors
- a separate partnership (excluding Cameco) is going ahead with the restart and refurbishment of the four Bruce A reactors
- Cameco is the fuel procurement manager to the Bruce reactors
- Bruce Power is located on the shores of Lake Huron, about 250 kilometres northwest of Toronto
- Bruce Power currently employs about 3,000 highly skilled men and women who work in shifts, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year
