Turqavik-Aberdeen is a new, 100%-owned exploration project located approximately 85 km west of Baker Lake, Nunavut with the exploration camp situated at the south end of Qamanaarjuk Lake along the Thelon River. Current exploration is focused in the southern portion of the two claims.
Exploration Objectives:
- Explore for mineralization similar to that found within deposits at AREVA's Kiggavik and Sissons properties to the east.
- Prioritize deep basement targets similar to AREVA's End Grid and Andrew Lake at the south end of the Turqavik-Aberdeen claims.
- Test drill targets in the north part of the project claims.
