Cameco Mongolia LLC, based in Ulannbataar, was established in 2005 and is Cameco's wholly-owned exploration arm based in Mongolia. Cameco Mongolia LLC holds a small but growing portfolio of early-stage uranium exploration projects across the country, with a focus of finding the next generation of uranium deposits that could be mined using the environment-friendly in situ recovery (ISR) mining technique, similar to our operations in Nebraska and Wyoming.
