ATHABASCA BASIN
Rabbit Lake is a 100% owned advanced exploration project with exploration activity ongoing for more than 40 years. Deposits located and mined to date include Rabbit Lake, B Zone, D Zone, A Zone and Eagle Point. Initial production began in 1975. To date, more than 170 million pounds of uranium concentrate has been produced from the Rabbit Lake operation. Current exploration is focused near the Eagle Point mine in an effort to extend mine life while also testing regional targets.
Exploration Objectives
- Identify additional resources in the immediate Eagle Point mine area that can be incorporated into the current mine plan
- Prioritization of deep basement targets similar to the newly discovered Footwall Zone at Eagle Point
- Drill testing of shallow regional exploration targets outside of the current mining lease
