Cameco is seeking regulatory approval to proceed with the Millennium project, a proposed underground uranium mine located about 600 kilometres north of Saskatoon. Millennium would be a mine-only development. There are no plans to construct on-site milling or tailings facilities. Mined uranium ore will be processed at an existing mill in order to minimize the site's environmental footprint.
